I have been taking my truck here for a number of years and I'm ALWAYS impressed with the service I receive. My recent Trip was to diagnosed a 4wd warning light on the dash. Upon inspection and finding my transmission need repairs, the complete job was covered under warranty from the transmission manufacturer. Kupers covered the complete job. After ordering me a new transmission, I was back on the road after two days. A very fast turnaround for the job they did. I love the dedication to diagnose and repair of my vehicle. I had just sold my Buick and then within hours the Service Engine Soon came on. The buyer questioned me and I offered to bring it in to Kupers. I made the appointment online and took it in early at 6:30. The shop was able to get it right in. The cost has increased but that was expected with prices the way they currently are. Randy called me and told me what was going on. I okayed the work to be done and told the current owner. I brought them with me as the transmission is needing worked on. Randy explained it all and the owners said that they would bring the car there in a couple months. They said the car runs beautifully and they are very happy! They will bring the Buick there for the smog and transmission and further maintenance. I am very happy too! Kupers will be my shop for my new Nissan Juke.

95 Dodge Diesel 48re transmission scheduled for a rebuild out of town to be towed. Wanted a “local” second opinion, not to many transmission specialists in Red Bluff. Called around ended up at Kuypers for second opinion. SURPRISE!! Rebuild not needed just yet. REBUILD Cost: $3,000.00+ KUYPERS Kure: $338.19 What sensor controls the transmission temperature? Thermometrics Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Thermometrics Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor (TFT) measures the temperature of transmission fluid. It provides input to the control module to modify shift patterns for smoother shifting in automatic transmissions, and also provides over-temperature protection by locking the torque converter. Vehicle becomes locked in a single gear. Many modern vehicles are equipped with failsafe devices, which prevent the transmission from shifting gears if a mechanical or electrical problem is detected. If your transmission position sensor is failing, your transmission may become locked in an unchanging gear. This condition is known as limp mode, and a car that has gone into limp mode is suffering from severe transmission issues.

I called Kuper's based on their location, expertise, and professionalism, they quickly scheduled me the next day. I took my jeep in, and delightful Arlene helped me out. She brought to my attention that my check engine light was on, and I said yes, it's been on for a while etc. She said let's diagnose it first. I said great. She had the team hook my car up to their diagnostic equipment and said it could be one of a few things and had another the come out and talk with me. The gentleman said it could be a thermostat or something else but he could not be sure so he asked me if I could bring my car in first thing in the morning. I said sure. I was there the next morning 7:30am. I told t hem to take their time as I was I no rush. They called me around 3ish and said my car is ready. When I went to pay Arlene said there is no charge, but that the parts that are needed to fix the check engine light needed to be ordered and once it's in they would fix the check engine light issue and smog my car at the same time. I told her I did need my car back asap as I had to be out of town mid next week. She said she would put a rush on the part. Kupers' is clean, the office staff super nice, down to earth, they sat and talked with me, explaining everything. I won't be going to the Jeep dealership anymore they took forever to even schedule me in for service, Kuper's got me in right away. Customer Service is top notch and Kuper's has a new client now. Thanks, Kuper's for everything.

With temps reaching 111 today the thought of sitting at the auto shop waiting for my car to get fixed was not fun. But then this is no ordinary auto shop. The newly renovated Kupers Automotive is beautiful inside. Gorgeous interior design, fresh popcorn and drinks. There's even a little area if you have to bring your pet. You walk in and it is cool and inviting. Even the couch and chairs are comfortable. The service is stellar too!! Locally owned, friendly and so professional! Driving through Red Bluff in our camper van, the check engine light came on and the engine was running roughly. Based on these Google reviews we called Kuper's and they took us in right away on a 110 degree summer Wednesday. Within an hour they had news and knew they'd need it overnight. They gave us a ride to the hotel and picked us up the next day at checkout time. We spent a few hours in their lobby which was super pleasant and air conditioned. They diagnosed the problem, got the parts, fixed the issues and got us on our way, and we paid far less then I anticipated. Friendly, professional, and good people. Popcorn machine and a dog water bowl in the lobby, too!
